Encouraged by his own experiences in selling the family home, David left a career in retail management in 2002 and turned to real estate sales, before progressing into the more specialised field of commercial property.
David’s background is unique and diverse, affording him a valuable array of skills and an ability to easily adapt to any challenge and situation. A university double major in chemistry has given him the keen analytical mind of a scientist which allows him to focus on details without losing sight of the big picture, while the customer service and negotiation skills he honed in his previous industry have stood him in good stead for the challenges of property management.
David is an expert at conflict resolution, legislative and regulatory requirements, arrears management, property maintenance and market review and rent adjustment. In all areas he freely shares his knowledge and good humour with his close-knit Gorman Kelly team.
